Our Story

TTC Exchange was formed through a joint venture between CKH Group, a leading worldwide CPA-led business advisory firm, and Donato Solar, a prominent developer of over 100MW of solar farms across Illinois, after Nick Mahoney, a recent graduate from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern approached the two firms with the idea.

Recognizing the challenges many renewable developers faced in monetizing tax credits to finance projects, our founders came together to create a better solution. One that combined deep financial expertise with an intimate understanding of the renewable energy development lifecycle.

In 2023, TTC Exchange was launched as a dedicated platform to help small and medium clean energy developers fully capitalize on the opportunities created by transferable tax credits.
